And Then There Were None

Today we bid adieu to Kiko, Kylie's beloved fish. We knew his time was drawing near as he started to turn from a soft yellow color to a sort of purplish hue. We believe the air temperature inside the girls' room was a tad too cold for this poor little fishy (thus the purple color) and when we went to feed him this morning we found him laying on the bottom of the tank. Casey and I laughed a bit this morning at the passing of Kiko (too soon?), but apparently we just aren't fish people. And so, we will clean out the tank once again and put it in the closet for another year. Maybe next time the fish will last more than a month? Maybe not.
