Happy Halloween!

For Halloween this year we dressed Camryn up in a mouse costume and Kylie got to be a chili pepper. Casey, Camryn and I went out trick or treating last night around our neighborhood and had a blast! Kylie thought sleep was more important than candy so the only ones who actually got to see her in her costume were the other daycare kids and parents. For the past two weeks Casey has been practicing with Camryn on what you say when you go out on Halloween and she did great at the first house that we went to--Luke was actually able to hear her. When we got to the second house she pretty much just held her bucket out and froze on what to say. As we made our way through the neighborhood she got louder and louder and she was very excited to get to the next house. I must say I love going trick or treating as a parent. I found out that if your child is really cute and acts really shy that the people give out more candy than they do to the loud obnoxious children--Camryn made out like a bandit...lots of free candy for Katie and Casey!!

After we were finished trick or treating we came back and dumped Camryn's candy on the floor to take a look at her loot. Casey was able to take a picture of Camryn as she responded to the following question: "Camryn, will you be sharing your candy with Mommy and Daddy?".

She later told me that she will share her candy!
