Watch out Mia Hamm!

Camryn is in her 4th week of soccer and loving every second of it! I loved watching her first game against other kids. No score was kept, but I'm pretty sure the score was something like 25-0 in favor of the other team. The other team was filled with superstars and Camryn's team didn't really have a chance, but it was still a lot of fun watching them run back and forth! Camryn had so much fun she started telling everyone that she scored a goal (even though no one came close to scoring!). We let her tell her tale with the hope that this would raise her self esteem. In my opinion it worked because during the second game she actually did score 4 goals! She is really showing that she is not afraid to kick it out with the other kids now that she has realized that it isn't going to hurt if the ball hits her shins! It's also been really fun to watch Coach Casey! Even though we still don't know much about the sport, when to do a corner kick or who gets the ball when, it's been awesome watching Camryn and Casey spend some quality time together! It's amazing what a father will do for his little girl!
