Yep, not a joke. We signed Camryn up for Micro Soccer and while we were at the mandatory parent's meeting yesterday we found out that Camryn's team didn't have a coach and that none of the parents on the team know anything about soccer. So, since Casey was the outgoing one of the bunch, he stepped up and became COACH CASEY! Tonight was the first night of practice and things went pretty well. The temperature was 100 degrees at 6:00 and although there were water breaks about every 5 minutes, it seemed as though the kids were actually learning some of the basics (along with the parents...)! Camryn's team consists of herself, Logan (not her soon-to-be-cousin), Logan (again, not her soon-to-be-cousin), Tristan, Jack and Ileana. All of the kids are 5 years old and Camryn and Jack are the tallest by almost 3-5 inches on the other kids! Her first game is on Saturday morning at 9:30 and I can't wait to hear all the details of the game (I have to work, grr!). GO TEAM KIWI!
