We took the girls out to Chester Woods in the boat on June 26th with the hope that we would be able to get some quality time on the water with them. Yeah, not really the case! We did manage to squeak out about 2 hours out of them which I was happy about. The girls were really excited to go, to get on the boat, to put their life jackets on, just not excited to fish! Camryn did well watching her bobber for about 5 minutes before she lost interest and I think Kylie lasted about a minute. Camryn did catch a little sunfish which she petted, but Kylie wanted to have nothing to do with it! Kylie had a large fish of some kinds on her line, but as we were reeling it in it snapped the line and got away. Next time we go we will definitely bring other activities for them to do like coloring, or puzzles or anything else not related to fishing!
