Making a Home

Since we moved into this house a year and a half ago we have taken on quite a few projects to make our house feel more like a home. We have remodeled the upstairs bathroom, painted our bedroom, painted the girls' room, painted the downstairs family room, numerous outside projects...etc. A few weeks ago I enlisted the help of a friend of mine who works as an interior designer for Ashley Furniture to help us choose colors that would go well with our furniture and accessories in our upstairs living room. After getting her feedback I was thrilled that Casey agreed to get started right away. This project included painting the majority of our upstairs...he had to paint the ceilings in our entryway, living room, kitchen, dining room and hallway and all of those rooms too! After a week of having our upstairs covered in drop cloths and 10 gallons of paint later our house is no longer a white insane asylum!! We used Kilim beige on the living room and hallway and latte for the entryway and the kitchen.
