The Sleger family has had some pretty bad luck with illness this month, but we're hoping that we all get well in time for Christmas! Casey, Camryn and I have pretty bad colds, whereas Kylie has bronchitis and a (sort of) ear infection. I took Kylie in on Friday because she sounded horrible and had been trying to rip her right ear off her head. The doctor said her ears looked perfectly fine, but because Kylie was scratching at her ear so vigorously she decided to treat her for an ear infection as well as the bronchitis. Hopefully after the antibiotics are done we'll all sleep a little better!
On a brighter note, Casey and I were able to have a night away from the girls thanks to mom and dad agreeing to watch them overnight. Before we made our way to our Christmas party we made a quick stop to see Chris and Becky to wish her a happy birthday. We then went to our Christmas party in Maple Grove thrown by one of my college room mates, Susan and her boyfriend, Pat. It was so nice to get out and have an adult night of fun and see friends we don't get to see often enough!
