We finally made it to Bounce World a couple weeks ago to use the free passes that Camryn got for passing level one in swimming! I wasn't sure what to expect since the first time we went Camryn was afraid of the whole situation and Kylie was still in a bouncer seat. This time, there was no fear, but rather all out excitement! The girls both had a blast on just about every inflatable and after about an hour and a half we had to practically drag them out of there! We will definitely be making another appearance!
On the 5th we went over to Jim and Lesley's house to decorate Valentine's cookies with Lesley, Alisha, Rachel and my Grandma. The girls love being invited to help and surprisingly they lasted until all the cookies were frosted! Their reward was the traditional homemade mac and cheese, fruit and green beans. They can't wait until the next holiday to help out again!
On the 6th we were invited to Chuck E. Cheese's by Kelly and Ian and were very impressed with the overall setup of this location as compared to the La Crosse one. This one is much brighter and a lot more up to date. The girls and Ian LOVED all of the games and pizza (AKA cardboard) but were upset that they didn't get to meet Chuck E. Cheese. They have another opportunity to meet him though, Ian is having his 6th birthday party there in a couple months!
Camryn had her last night of swimming this past Thursday and we found out that she passed level 2! Her teacher, Katy, was really pushing for Camryn to continue on with lessons, but after asking Camryn if she wanted to keep swimming, she replied "Nah, I don't think I need to. I'm pretty good." We might look into dance classes for her since she LOVES to sing and dance all around the house.
This past weekend we went to La Crosse to get our taxes done. YAY for a large return! We celebrated by spending the night in the hotel where we had our wedding reception. The hotel has an indoor water park and the girls had so much fun! Camryn was in the water for almost 5 hours! This may just have to become a new tradition...as long as we continue to get nice refunds! Go Stetzer Accounting!!
