Christmas Cookies

Instead of braving the crazy lines and crazy people on Black Friday, Camryn and I made Christmas "lovely" cookies. We went over to my Grandma Salsman's house and borrowed all of her cookie cutters (Grandma is a professional cookie maker and has a TON of cutter designs) and then went to the store to stock up on sprinkles and such. Now, let me just say that this was our first time ever making them and the recipe, according to my grandma, should yield about 100-125 cookies. Our batch made 55. I guess we'll need to get some more hints or watch her do it next year!

The cookies, although a bit plumper than the average cookie, were delicious! They were so good that we ate all of them in one week! SO, we got our second chance to make Christmas cookies. Our second batch only yielded 60 so we are definitely doing something wrong! Oh well, we had fun and we have a lot of yummy cookies to eat!!

I love the look of concentration on camryn's face...adorable. I don't think there is such a thing as "only" 60 cookies!
