Vacation!!

We have been on vacation...or maybe I should call it "stay-cation" since we didn't go on a trip...but vacation for about a week now and to say we have been keeping quite busy would be an understatement! We started out on Friday by heading to Two Rivers where we had a great visit with Casey's parents and his brother before he headed back to Finland on Sunday. We got to see some friends, one of his aunts and uncles and both of the grandmas!







We came back on Monday and spent what was left of the day relaxing outside with some of our neighbors. Tuesday was a bit of a rainy day, but we still managed to get some yard work done and played a ton!! Wednesday was the best day of all, at least if you ask Camryn. We took the girls up to Como Zoo and they had an absolute blast!! I was amazed that we were able to make the trip last for 3 hours! We got to see a ton of animals and the girls were thoroughly exhausted by the time we left!

















On Thursday we continued to work in the kennel/garden and I was FINALLY able to get the rest of the rocks out of the back part of the kennel so that Casey and I could work on getting the stump out. After an hour or so of chopping away at the millions of roots that were on this tiny stump, we finally manged to get it out!!





After having a delicious dinner at Whistles North we invited Kelly and Derby and the kids over to our house for a bonfire. We only have a few days left, but if the weather cooperates we want to go camping in the backyard so that Camryn has some practice for someday when we actually go to a campground! Busy, busy, busy!!
